Are you looking Libre Office 5.2/5.1/5.0 Install guide?
Since I paid for it once I should not have to pay for it again. Open Office is good software, and it's free, but alas, from what I can tell it is no longer being updated. When I tried loading it from their website recently, I got a bunch of nasty spam ware programs instead which I had to remove.Their website is full of bugs- don't download anything from it!Use a program like to select a style (in general different from KDE) and a font (may be the same as your KDE general system font). There are also other GTK engine packages available.Over the years, I've had a number of people come to me asking for help picking a word processor, spreadsheet, Office component or full suite.
While MS Office is the defacto standard for word processing, spreadsheets and presentations, it IS rather expensive.
(For example you can mark a group of paragraphs as read-only by including them in a read-only section.) Tables in sections, split over multiple pages was already working, but now it’s possible to have sections in tables split over multiple pages as well.
I do very little other than write letters and such on the program. I am probably no the best person to review this program.
As Tommy kindly mentioned on the QA mailing list, this week the Libre Office project has surpassed the 40,000 resolved bugs milestone – a huge achievement demonstrating the enormous amount of effort the community puts into software quality.
If we take a look at the numbers from August 2016 (the month we started to collect data from Bugzilla) up to […] read more » I have just visited Taiwan to attend COSCUP, meet representatives of the Taiwanese government and the local community, and run a certification session.
It works great for me and I did not have to pay for Microsoft word.
